Eden Project

The Eden Project, an educational charity, connects us with each other and the living world, exploring how we can work towards a better future.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan

Twenty-five years ago, Heligan’s historic gardens were unknown and unseen; lost under a tangle of weeds. It was only the chance discovery of a door in the ruins that led to the restoration of this once great estate. Today, The Lost Gardens have been put back where they belong: in pride of place among the finest gardens in Cornwall.

Lanhydrock House

Lanhydrock House is a beautiful house and estate, which provides plenty to explore and discover for the whole family. With play parks and lovely walks to relax in.

Cotehele House

Built in medieval times, the current house is mostly Tudor. Make your way through four floors of history to learn stories about the Edgcumbe family who owned it for 600 years.

Anthony House

Antony is a house full of faces and personalities. Generations of Carews look down from gilded frames as you walk through the rooms. A rich family history tells of English Civil War intrigue and the remarkable scholarship and creativity of an important family.

Bodmin Jail

Visit the cold dank cells, look up at the thin rays of light filtering through a small barred window and imagine being sentenced to even a week in such desolation, a very lonely life with the knowledge each day would bring more of the same cold, hunger and hard labour on the treadmill as a civil prisoner, or “cannon ball” catch for naval prisoners; designed to keep you fit for battle on your release.

Adrenaline Quarry

There’s more to Adrenalin Quarry than getting thrown off a cliff. The park is safe and fun for families, thrilling for adrenalin junkies. That’s why we’re often featured in ‘best things to do in Cornwall’ lists in the national press.

Kart World

The 800 metre circuit is designed for all types of karting and consists of a long straight heading into a chicane followed by fast flowing twists and turns with plenty of width for overtaking.

Tintagel Castle

Immerse yourself in history, myths and stunning scenery at Tintagel Castle, set high on Cornwall’s rugged north coast between Padstow and Bude. Inextricably linked with the legend of King Arthur, for centuries this dramatic castle and coastline has fired the imaginations of writers, artists and even the brother of a king. Now it’s your turn to be inspired.

Charlestown Shipwreck Museum

The Shipwreck and historical artefacts on display in the centre are the largest private collection of this type on public display in Europe.

There are countless items from a bygone age as well as artefacts from over 150 shipwrecks.
The exhibition shows a tremendous range of maritime history dating back to 1715 and one of the largest underwater diving equipment collections in the country.

Carnglaze Caverns

Visit this former slate mine where slate was both quarried and mined underground in Cornwall. You will go on a self-guided underground tour (may be guided in high seasons) to learn how the mine was worked, ending at the Underground Lake with its crystal clear blue/green water.

Monkey Sanctuary

The Monkey Sanctuary is home to 37 individuals; each one with their distinct characters and personalities. As we are an active rescue centre dealing with individuals that have often not had a very happy start to life, the needs of the monkeys always take priority. As a result of this, some areas of the rescue centre are not accessible by our visitors so as to give the monkeys the time they need to recover and progress physically, emotionally and socially.

Bodmin Moor

From the top of Rough Tor and Brown Willy, the two highest peaks in Cornwall, the views are spectacular. Bodmin Moor holds a host of designations including World Heritage Site status, recognising the area’s tin mining industry dating back over 4,000 years.
